Christmas Presents.

As I get older, I’m finding I’m getting less excited about what I will get for Christmas, & worrying more about what I’m going to GIVE for Christmas.

For Christmas, my Dad usually gives us a $100 note each. Although sometimes he’ll give you presents, like last year. Dad gave 2 of my sisters small TV’s & paid for half of a big TV for Luke & I.

My Mum usually gets us something small, she never has a lot of money. But this year she’s painting us a picture. Which is more special than little presents anyway.

I don’t usually get people presents, but I want to this year. I wanted to last year as well, but I didn’t plan my money well enough.

I’m not sure what I’m going to get my 3 youngest sisters for Christmas. I keep trying to think back what I liked & wanted when I was 8, 10 & 12. Toys? Only I don’t want to give toys. That’s not very special. (Well they can be, I got a doll from my Nan before she died. I still have her. She’s very special.) But my sisters have so many toys already. It would just end up either broken, or lost.

Plus my Mum is leaving next year in Feb. She’s going to Western Australia. So she asked us not to buy the girls toys anyway, because they can’t take a lot of stuff they already have.

For my older, younger sisters (Ages 18 & 15) I bought them Avon products. I sell Avon so I get a discount when I buy things from them. Felicity asked from Beauty products anyway, so I know she’ll like what I’ll be giving her. & Jacqueline came in the room when I was ordering them, so she knows some of what I’ll be getting her & she seemed to like it.

Ok, so I ended up ordering some things for my little sisters, I got them a DVD, a bible & a cross necklace each. i think they’ll really like their gifts. :)
